Make that a gorgeous thing!!
Jessica definitely fits the bill.
I don't have studio access, as working from home saves you - the client - and I $$! However, I do have stdio-lighting available for just such out-of-the-ordinary purposes! Jessica and I were able to create a private 'studio' right in the comfort of her own abode.
As you know, I don't typically do 'formal' photos necessitating a studio-atmosphere. However, this session still doesn't exactly qualify as 'formal' in my book... It was a joy to work with Jessica, and her visions very much matched my own for the type of session she was looking to accomplish. There was lots of room for creative capture, paired with some unique and abstract, artistic pieces. We had fun experimenting with the lighting, to get the desired results; Shadows, curves, femininity, and of course ~ that baby-belly ~ all aglow! I am excited to share a sample of some of the 'PG-rated' photos, under Jessica's permission, with you here! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHi Denise,I hope you won't mind a guy posting a comment in regards to the photos you shot of mom-to-be Jessica.When I discovered your blog and viewed all of the above images I just couldn't leave without giving both you and Jessica the PRAISE you rightfully deserve!First off,you're a WONDERFUL photographer!!!As for your pregnant subject,might I say that her fully ripe body is none other than SEXY and EROTIC and DELICIOUSLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!While I LOVE each and every one of the pics,the second one from the bottom(lying on side)has to be my very favorite!That swollen belly and those "hippy" hips render her POSITIVELY INTOXICATING and believe me when I tell you that I did indeed ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, Todd. Although I've decided to forgo the business end of things, I am still passionate about the art of photography, and the ability to capture moments in time. And I still appreciate the nod! (Thanks again for the kind words.) Jessica is already naturally beautiful, but I agree that her pregnancy glow was also noteworthy. She actually caught some (uncalled-for) flack from (supposed) friends for the style of this shoot... It's unfortunate, because it was a unique and stunning way for her to capture this time in her life. (I believe it was jealousy.) Her unique vision for this session was one of my favorites, and she deserves the compliments coming her way as well. Thanks again! ~D.
