Fact: “Stylized-Shoots”
are all the rage these days. My personal theory on this – is that it’s more
likely each of those particular photographer’s preferred styles of shooting –
as they can then control the entire
process… from location, to lighting, to posing, to props – everything. When the
photographer takes full control – they are
creating your story – and determining
precisely how to tell it. It gives them confidence in their abilities to please
their own eye and creative energies – but doesn’t allow you to truly shine – in
your own individual ways! Here’s the deal… If that’s your thing, then coolio. Our
differences are what make the world turn. But personally for me, to that set-up-style, I
say "ARGH!!"
THIS, my
friends, is what sets Denise Mack
Photography apart from all the ‘trendies’ out there: DMP thrives on telling YOUR story – YOUR
way. I love to be that fly on the wall, anticipating & observing your
special moments while honing-in on various creative means of capturing all of
the wonder in unique and unexpected ways. I create expressive images of your
fond memories… Your genuine moments, authentic expressions, the REAL YOU! I like
the fact that my photos don’t have to be quote-unquote “perfect” (the most ideal
lighting, precise posing; i.e. Fake)
in order to be considered art. And, I don’t have to forgo artistic compositions
and diverse renderings to truly depict your natural persona! My passion is
capturing your sincere passion, while finding things within those moments to
enhance your memories-via-photographs.
We didn’t
have to leave the couple’s preferred beach location in St. Kitts for this
shoot, and we gathered quite a strong variety of images! We had loads of fun,
and the newlyweds got to simply be themselves! This meant that we acquired a varied
array of romantic moments, intermingled with fun frolic of the fabulous kind!
They didn’t merely pose for a photo session; They made memories together – and I captured them – turning those
memories into visual works of art. Here are a few peeks at some favorite
